How SEO Works: An Infographic
How is SEO determined? A Quick Reference Guide (Infographic)
When you think of a search engine, you immediately think: Google! I am going to Google this, or that.
When you type in a search term, you see the result and below that a list of alternative links from which you can choose. The same applies regardless of whether it is Google, Bing, or Yahoo!
When you have chosen your link, THEN you get to Page 1 which is then the first page of your search results.
But how are the links determined which you see when you type in your search term in the search bar?
According to Moz, ‘Google (or any search engine you’re using) has a crawler that goes out and gathers information about all the content they can find on the Internet. The crawlers bring all those 1s and 0s back to the search engine to build an index. That index is then fed through an algorithm that tries to match all that data with your query’.
Here is an Infographic which can serve as a quick reference, when you are writing your next Blog Post.
